SCRAPBOOKS AND NEWSPAPER CLIPPINGS
Circa 1939
A group of approximately ten vintage scrapbooks compiled by young fans around the time the film was released. Filled with newspaper clippings, magazine articles, photographs, maps, programs, tickets, paper dolls and other items related to "GWTW," these pieces now serve as a time capsule to illustrate just how much of a media frenzy surrounded this film. Also included are a number of newspaper and other related clippings that never made it into the scrapbooks as well as later scrapbooks that were compiled post-1939.

Please note most of these scrapbooks and clippings are now in very fragile condition.
