A celadon and russet jade snuff bottle
19th Century
of pebble form, carved in shallow relief using the russet skin with a monkey seated between an immortal and a female attendant amongst rockwork, the reverse with a bat above a deer beneath a pine tree, stopper -- 2 7/8in. (7.4cm.) high; and a white jade bottle of rounded form, a small area of pale green tone, stopper -- 2¼in. (5.7cm.) high, (minor wear).
