A BURLWOOD MEDICINE CHEST, YAOXIANG
17th century
Of upright rectangular shape, the deep chest with a humpback handle reinforced with huangtong straps, and a flush floating panel removable door mounted with a huangtong sliding quatrefoil lockplate and pull, the interior fitted with a slot to receive the front panel and six drawers with huangtong ring pulls
13in. (33cm.) high, 9in. (22.8cm.) wide, 12¾in. (32.2cm.) deep
