Watney, Liverpool Porcelain of the Eighteenth Century, London, 1997, fig. 185a for a coffee-pot with similar scroll handle attributed to Philip Christian and Company, 1765-1778, and fig. 406 for a cream-jug attributed to Seth Pennington and John Part, 1778-1799, painted with the same distinctive berry-like flower sprays fround on the present coffee-pot.
