A GEORGE III MAHOGANY CLOTHES-PRESS
The rectangular moulded cornice above a pair of panelled doors enclosing flour slides and a later brass hanging-rail, above two short and two long drawers, on bracket feet, lacking one slide, restorations and replacements to the feet, the handles apparently original, with indistinct stencil to one short drawer 'S&H JEWELL FURNITURE WAREHOUSES 29, 30, 31 LITTLE QUEEN ST HOLBORN', and with metal label impressed 'S&H JEWELL 29, 30 & 31 LITTLE QUEEN STREET HOLBORN, W.C.' one long drawer with paper label inscribed in an 18th Century hand 'London Clothes', the other long drawer with paper label inscribed in an 18th Century hand 'Reserve'
