A Northern Italian bone and ebony inlaid casket, 19th century
In the manner of the Embriachi workshop, of rectangular form surmounted by a domed pediment, carved in low relief with winged maidens supporting vacant cartouches, the front and side panels carved with figural reliefs, stiff leaf apron, on paw feet -- 7in. (17.7cm.) wide; a French miniature carved ivory figure of Napoleon, 19th century -- 2¼in. (5.7cm.) high; and various other items including a French carved soft stone whippet and a conch shell mounted as a horn (8)
