EXCEPTIONAL WINES FROM AN EXCEPTIONAL CELLAR

Storage
The following wines were all pulled from one of the finest cellars I have yet come across. The cellar is all natural and is situated under a house high up in the mountains in New England, blasted into the rock it stays at a constant 55 degrees and 75 humidity. The day I arrived to pack the wines it was 85-90 outside and 54 in the cellar.

Provenance
What really makes this small selection even rarer is that all wines were purchased on release from two of Manhattan's leading wine shops. Another point of interest was the fastiduously maintained cellar records detailing all purchases and movements. Hand-written and going back to the early fifties, they provided a fascinating insight into the collecting of these great old wines.
