An okubi-e (large-head portrait) on a dark silver-mica ground of the actor in the play Katakiuchi noriyaibanashi (A medley of tales of revenge), performed at the Kiri Theater in the fifth month of Kansei 6 (1794), signed Toshusai Sharaku ga, published by Tsutaya Juzaburo, ink inscription in praise of the actor by Omutei with two illegible seals--very good impression, some losses to mica, signature of Omutei partly trimmed off, faded
