Of turned and assembled wood with flaring, ribbed sides on three curved-scroll feet, the red lacquer worn in places revealing the underlayer of black lacquer; the underside black lacquer
Donor names are inscribed in red lacquer on the underside: Villages of Kawada, Yasuhiro, Tanaka and Kita from Goshu in Omi Province (modern Shiga Prefecture, near Kyoto) and the village of Kita from Ko
