The slender inro designed in gold, silver and red takamaki-e on a kinji ground with a pair of deer beneath a branch of red maple, the reverse with a continuation of the maple tree and a spray of chrysanthemums and grasses, the interiors nashiji with fundame edges; fitted with a coral bead ojime and an ivory netsuke of a reclining stag, with signature Tomotada
