20th century, the first with signature Kogyoku, the second Nanryu
The first of Benkei and the young Yoshitsune in their famous confrontation on Gojo Bridge, the young warrior leaping out of the reach of the monk's halberd, the details stained dark; the second of a monkey trainer carrying his monkey on his shoulders, the trainer's costume incised and lightly stained
