The circular white-enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals and pierced foliate hands, the movement with verge escapement, silk-suspended pendulum and rack strike on two bells, with pull repeat, in a case of typical form mounted with berried laurel swags and foliate scrolls, the glazed door centred by the personification of Janus and flanked by arabesques, on scroll feet, re-decorated, the dial with cracquele and chips, lacking bell-shaped top, with a later green painted bracket
