The hood with swan neck pediment and outset columns, with rounded canted pilasters flanking the arched trunk door, above a rectangular plinth and on bracket feet, the circular white-painted Roman and Arabic dial with subsidiary seconds ring and date aperture to the centre and various painted flowers, signed Sam.Harlow.Ashbour..., the four pillar movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell
