A pair of Louis XVI carved giltwood fauteuils
Each with padded oval back, arm-rests and bow-fronted seat covered in 18th Century Aubusson tapestry depicting a bird within an oval and flanked by various flower-heads, the back carved with ribbon-twist, above slightly curved arms and scrolled arm supports carved with husk-trails, the seat-rail carved with guilloches, on turned tapering fluted legs headed by carved paterae, minor losses to the gilding, restorations, some areas re-gilt (2)
