Tasting note: Last tasted Jan 1998 : Very deep purple, with youthfully vibrant cassis, resin and minty aromas. This is a solidly-built, four-square, spectacular wine with a powerful, vanilla-oak element which will require, I surmised, until 2003 to integrate, and for its abundant tannins to soften. AH
