A coloured map showing the world globe titled Chikyu bankoku sankai yochi zenzusetsu, Map of the world that shows all countries, mountains and rivers, originally designed by the famous geographer Nagakubo Sekisui (1717-1801), that explains for the first time to the Japanese the phenomena of the equator, the poles and the tropics, not dated, originally published between 1773 and 1796 in Osaka, probably a later printing - good impression, colour and condition, the map is in two separate sheets, split in two halves

Christie's charges a Buyer's premium calculated at 23.205% of the hammer price for each lot with a value up to €110,000. If the hammer price of a lot exceeds €110,000 then the premium for the lot is calculated at 23.205% of the first €110,000 plus 11.9% of any amount in excess of €110,000.
