Tasted from barrel. Deep purple red with fresh, candied fruit aromas which take me straight back to stirring the Christmas pudding. This vintage is 47 Merlot, 37 Cabernet Sauvignon, 9 Cabernet Franc, 1 Petit Verdot. Fine oak tannins dominated in the Spring after the vintage, hiding a lush, supple fruitiness. A.H.
