Only 36 of the production of the château went into the Grand Vin , indicating the vigour of owner Alfred Tesseron's selections. Tasted in November 2001 at the Raffles Hotel Wine and Food Experience, it showed loganberries, roasted fruits and spice. Round, fleshy, broad and sweet, this is richly delicious. A.H.
