Fife Vineyards, founded in 1991, has wineries in both the Napa Valley and in the Redwood Valley of Mendocino, producing red wines only. Owners Dennis Fife and Karen MacNeil-Fife believe strongly that wine should express the personalities of the vineyards from which it comes. Their winemaking philosophy is to obtain grapes with character, handle them minimally, and then focus on blending to bring out nuance in the wine.
