AUTHOR'S COPY OF THIS IMPORTANT ATLAS OF FREYCINET'S SECOND VOYAGE TO THE PACIFIC.

The voyage of the Uranie and Physicienne brought back important geographical information on many of the island groups of the south west Pacific and in particular The Sandwich Islands, Quam, the Caroline Islands and the Falkland Islands (Malouines). The surveys were executed carefully by Duperrey and other officers in the tradition of high quality French chart making.
