No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VA… Read more COUPANG AND DUTCH TIMOR (Lots 45-53) After two weeks on the inhospitable coast of western Australia, Freycinet headed north, arriving at Coupang, Timor, to water and reprovision the Uranie, on 9 October 1818. They spent a month based in Coupang, enjoying the hospitality of the Dutch, before passing through the Straits of Ombay and calling at Diely, the centre of the Portugese colony on the north of the island.
