A Large Gilt Bronze Figure of Khyung (Garuda)
Tibeto-Chinese, circa 1800
Standing on a prostrated figure over a lotus base with his arms and wings outstretched, wearing a feather skirt and beaded jewelry inset with hardstones, his ferocious face with the third eye surmounted by curved horns and flaming hair, the base cast on the reverse with his name in large Tibetan characters "Dark Khyung"
