The two deer shown side by side, one in a recumbent position grasping the end of a branch of lingzhi fungus in its mouth while a smaller sprig is carved between its front hoofs, the other shown seated on its rear haunches with the end of a fruiting peach branch held in its mouth, with a bat with spread wings carved atop the larger of the two peaches, the softly polished stone of very pale greenish-white color
