carved standing wearing a large lotus-leaf hat, finely incised hairwork, incised signature to the side -- 2 3/8in. (6cm.) high; and another ivory netsuke of a monkey seated on rockwork, inset eyes -- 1½in. (3.8cm.) high, (one eye missing from monkey).
