19th Century
carved wearing tied robes, carrying a basket of vegetables hanging from a stick, standing on an oval base with a red lacquer signed tablet to the underside -- 4¼in. (10.7cm.) high; another ivory okimono of a fisherman carrying a basket full of fish and another in his hands, wood stand -- 3 7/8in. (9.8cm.) high; and an ivory okimono of Daikoku carrying his mallet and a rat standing on his sack -- 4½in. (11.4cm.) high, (minor nibbles).
