carved wearing long flowing robes and celestial scarf, holding a small model of a zushi in one hand, standing on rockwork, signed red lacquer tablet to base -- 10½in. (26.6cm.) high; an another ivory okimono of a mother and child, the mother holding a basket of fruit above the young boy trying to reach up, on an oval base -- 6 7/8in. (17.5cm.0 high, (minor wear).
