A Japanese ivory model of Kannon
Meiji Period
carved seated wearing ornate headdress and robes on a lotus stand, signed -- 2 5/8in. (6.8cm.) high, (splits); a Komai style brooch decorated with birds among reeds; a wooden netuske of a monk, his hands resting on a drum, (damages to himotoshi); three small metal masks of immortals, one attached to an ivory circular plaque; a small pair of tinned metal vases decorated with egrets; a bronze tsuba modelled with a dragon among cloud scrolls and a small bronze plaque decorated in shibuichi with a ship in a storm.
