A pair of opaque white glass and red overlay jars and covers
Circa 1900
carved through the overlay with shaped panels depicting birds perched on flowering branches, the covers with lotus finials -- 5 7/8in. (15cm.) high; and a larger pair of opaque white glass and green overlay jars and covers, carved through the overlay with lotus and prunus sprays issuing from rockwork, the covers with dragons around a floriform finial -- 8in. (20.3cm.) high, (chip to rim on one green overlay jar).
