A large Chinese export black lacquer games box and cover

of octagonal form with claw feet, painted in gold and red lacquer with figures on horseback and at leisure within bands of confronting dragons chasing flaming pearls, the interior with seven compartments and eleven small trays similarly decorated, numerous mother of pearl counters -- 14½in. (37cm.) wide, (minor damages).
