A large Wagenia wood paddle, the leaf shaped blade with carved panels of grooves to each side, iron tip, dark patina, 112 5/8in. (286cm.) long
Included in this lot is a photogravure of the 'Congo Officers in Council' with this paddle in the background. This paddle was part of the 1890 Exhibition, displayed in the Dome. (2)
