Stanley and dated New York, February 18, 1891; together with Narrative of Privations and Sufferings of United States Officers and Soldiers while Prisoners of War (Philadelphia, 1864) in original wrappers, and James D. McCabe Jr. Life and Campaigns of General Robert E. Lee (Atlanta, 1866, defective).
A small collection of books given or purchased by Stanley on his lecture tour across America, his interest in the Civil War apparent. (6)
