Large folding frontispiece map of Australia showing explorers' routes in red, 3 other folding maps, 8 lithographic plates, comprising 3 plates of facsimile letters and 5 of cave paintings. Original red cloth (slightly rubbed and stained). FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY, title inscribed 'H.M. Stanley with the author's compliments,' with Stanley's book stamp on title and bookplate.
