FIRST U.S. EDITION IN RARE PRESENTATION BINDING, inscribed 'Very sincerely yours, Roald Amundsen', with a tipped in photograph of Amundsen on the deck of a ship. Rosove notes that most copies (in this binding) are signed as above, in addition, a 'card advertising this specially bound edition exists'. Rosove 9.B1 ('Rare'). (2)
