A Voyage towards the South Pole and Round the World... the second edition. London: for W. Strahan and T. Cadell, 1777. 2 volumes, 4° (295 x 130mm.). Engraved portrait and 63 plates, maps and charts (comprising: 14 maps, 4 folding, 2 double-page, 49 plates, 9 folding and 18 double-page), 1 folding letterpress table. (A few plates shaved with slight loss, large folding map of the southern hemisphere holed at folds, some spotting, offsetting and browning.) Contemporary calf (rebacked with original spines laid down).
