Lot Essay

These signatures were obtained by the vendor when The Beatles appeared at the Granada Cinema, East Ham, London on Saturday, 9th March, 1963. This was the Beatles' second theatre package tour which started only five days after their tour with Helen Shapiro had finished. This time the top billing was given to Americans Tommy Roe and Chris Montez to be swiftly superceded on the first night by The Beatles.
