A MEISSEN FIGURE GROUP OF 'THE BROKEN EGGS',
late 19th/20th century, blue crossed swords mark, incised F.65., impressed 51 and 58, painted 57., after a model by Acier of 1777,
modelled as a fashionable lady draped in garlands by a putto hidden in her skirt, an attendant seated at her right, a basket of broken eggs and a putto holding one at her feet, on a rocky mound, the oval base moulded and enriched with a band of arches and paterae
