late 19th/20th century, blue crossed swords mark, incised F.63., impressed 40 and painted 25., after a model by Acier of 1777,
modelled as a gallant assisting a distressed lady across a broken bridge, a putto at her feet, another at her back, on a rocky mound, the oval base moulded and enriched with a band of arches and paterae
