A MAGNIFICENT BELLE EPOQUE DIAMOND NECKLACE
The front decorated with a fringe of nine articulated pendants, each terminating with an independent pear-shaped diamond, weighing from approximately 1.88 to 4.49 carats, within a two-tiered scalloped frame of alternating rose and old mine-cut diamond rows, suspended by a diamond collet, from an old mine-cut diamond line, to the flexible neckchain of openwork old mine-cut diamond festooned links, enhanced by diamond collet spacers, joined by a similarly-designed clasp, centering upon a larger old mine-cut diamond, mounted in platinum, circa 1905, 14¾ ins., in a black suede case
With certificate 12162456 dated 13 August 2002 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the diamond is E color, VS2 clarity
