A Berlin Royal oval two-handled dish from the Grünentafel service for the Neue Palais
1767-68, underglaze blue sceptre, impressed 2 22
The centre painted with a bouquet of flowers within a border of two panels of flowering foliage meandering through vertical gilt line staves flanked by four panels with flower garlands divided at the intersection of each lobe by six gilt foliage scroll-moulded turquoise panels extending spirally towards the centre, within a gilt-line and feuilles-de choux rim, the foliage-moulded handles pierced and enriched with puce and gilding (restored rim chip and some re-touching to gilding, particularly to handles)
