A Berlin flared cabinet-cup
Circa 1805, underglaze blue sceptre and green enamel marks, black H (?) marks, saucer impressed 41 ,
The cup with gilt dolphin handle, the matt-green ground gilt with scrolling foliage, the front reserved with a half-length portrait of Cupid after Raphael within a circular gilt cartouche against a rectangular matt-gilt panel embossed with foliage, below a broad gilt border chased and embossed with flowerheads within ovals, the waisted gilt foot chased with up-turned stiff-leaves, the interior richly gilt, the saucer with a similar gilt border about a similar green-ground band
