Still a dark crimson color. Hugely aromatic nose of smoky cedar fruit. This is an immensely concentrated Margaux of very large proportions.
Lots of extract & tannins, super length. A true beast. What ever they
are doing at Margaux, they're doing it right, because this and the 1995 are absolute classics. Should be good for another 20-30 years in the cellar. DW
