The Chinese lacquered bronze figures 18th Century, the ormolu almost certainly mid-18th Century, possibly with some rechasing in the 19th Century
Each seated beneath a tree and parasol, from which is suspended a later rock crystal pendant, on a rocaille scroll base with branches and rocks applied, each base bearing the C couronné poinçon, one figure with refreshments to decoration

The 'C couronné poinçon was a tax mark employed in France between March 1745 and February 1749 on any alloy containing copper.
