Details
MORE TOKAJI FROM THE CELLARS OF CROWN ESTATES (LOTS 28-39)
Tokaji Aszú wines are produced by the addition of individually selected grapes that have been affected by botrytis or "noble rot", which concentrates the grape sugar, and crushed in 20 litre tubs called puttony. The sweetness is designated as three, four, five or six puttonyos depending on the number of puttony added to the base wine.
Tokaji Szamorodni is made from late harvested Furmint and Hárslevelú grapes without the selection of botrytised berries. It is aged in old oak casks for at least two years
The Museum wines have neck tags stating "stored at the Tokaji Wine
Museum in Tolcsva for decades. The quality was checked at the recorking and guaranteed by the cellarmaster".

Lying in Gloucestershire at Christie's designated warehouse, (Octavian)
Lots 29 to 32 are in original cartons of 12 half-litre bottles unless specified
