MIMEOGRAPHED from typescript of von Neumann's first lectures on quantum spaces at The Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. Von Neumann helped to found the IAS in 1933, and was appointed as one of the original six mathematics professors, along with other well known scholars such as Albert Einstein.
