FIRST EDITION. SIGNED ("Norbert Wiener") on the front free endpaper. Presumably a review copy, with publishers' card and publicity photograph of Wiener laid in. This is second issue of the first edition, printed offset from the sheets of the first issue that was issued by Hermann in brown printed wrappers. Among its contributions, Cybernetics was the first conventionally published work to discuss electronic digital computing.
