FIRST EDITION, LIMITED ISSUE, number 3 of 1,500 copies signed by Frost. PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY FROST TO EDGAR T. RIGG on the front free endpaper: "To Edgar T. Rigg I owe so much to [you] as my friend and publisher Robert Frost with deep regard Office of the Firm April 15, 1962." Publication was March 26, Frost's birthday.
Rigg was a Wall Street executive who became the president of Holt in the mid-50s. He regularly reminded the temperamental Frost of the firm's esteem, even masterminding the poet's massive 85th birthday bash at the Waldorf Astoria. Crane 41. A VERY FINE ASSOCIATION COPY.
