The secretaire by William Hodges and dated 1805
In the form of a Georgian house, the front falling to reveal a baize-lined and fitted interior, with a later stand fitted with a drawer and square tapered legs joined by an H-form stretcher, one secret drawer inscribed Willm Hodges built this house in his 81 years of his aged 1805, another drawer inscribed Eugen Bower mend 1968
