Central Iran, early 13th century
Of rounded form on short foot, the white interior painted with four panels of radiating black waterweed motifs divided by plain cobalt-blue lines, a band of cobalt around the rim, the exterior with a simple plain black line, two hair cracks, good glaze, intact
5 7/8in. (14.8cm.) diam.
