Iran, 19th century
Each of rectangular form with three recessed panels, the larger central panel with a central carved wood oval insert pierced with flowering vine around the portrait of a shah, one named as Shah 'Abbas, medallions containing animals among scrolling vine above and below, on a ground of fine mosaic designs, the upper and lower panels with mosaic lozenges on a similar ground, in a border of alternating shaped concentric cartouches containing mosaic designs between coloured stringing, slight damages and old repairs
