A pair of blue and white delft soup-plates
Circa 1760, perhaps Liverpool or Dublin, one with leaf mark in blue
Painted with flowering magnolia flanked by plants and grasses within a band of cell-pattern and trailing branches, with four radiating groups of flowering plants issuing from rockwork, the undersides with trailing grasses (minute rim chips and flaking)
9 1/8 in. (23.2 cm.) diam. (2)
